When French Pop Icon Serge Gainsbourg wrote Le poinçonneur des Lilas (The Ticket Puncher) in 1958, it’s fair to suggest that he’d never have thought and Australian duo would reanimate its depressive ticket-checking protagonist 66 years later, to ask more questions of his train passengers.

Through the intentional rail-clatter-repetition of electro pop and driving guitar, is a story about a person’s worth. 

Drummer/Singer Holly Garcia delivers, in dream pop nonchalance, a single question “Are we merely here to work, to live, to work…repeat” ? 

With Little Holes as a debut release, one can anticipate big things from these guys moving forward.
