While punk relics like Cockney Rejects and The Exploited tour the globe before old-age takes them, few bands remain to carry the torch and fewer still with young blood and fresh eyes.

If “punk” …real punk, was ever anything, it was more than a self-serving whinge fest. Historically it was always the unifying call-to-arms for the underdogs and disenfranchised. 

The Owen Guns, never ones to balk at topical conversations have done it once more. Previously making $1000s for charity through sales of their first single release, while managing to debut at #13 in the Australian Independent Record Labels Association Charts, here they are again, tunefully barking to an ignorant world on behalf of another poorly represented community of our social-soup.
