Allow us to introduce you to Body Mass. We hope you’ll check it out and love it as much as we do.

While Howl W is enjoying international airplay as the lead single, there are only 4 tracks and they’re all equally beautiful. This EP is so broadly appealing it made sense for us to concentrate on it as our maiden project like the proud parents of a gifted child.

Body Mass is a collaborative project created and curated by musician, guitar-geek-dad Ben Hassell. After playing in bands in Sydney (Traps, Phonograph, Marching Room) throughout the 00’s, he relocated to Brisbane with his family. Body Mass has been a fine tuned (pun intended) side project for a year in global lockdown. The EP embraces the experiences of those times until now, including unemployment & worthlessness, employment & boredom, resentment and anger, adulthood, ageing and death – all compounded by a global epidemic. This is processing the devolution of a dream to a hobby. It’s magical at times, very warm and should come with a Surgeon General’s warning to NOT USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ENDONE.
